...There are two sections, "join game on internet," "create game on internet," etc. Lets stick to those two for simplicities sake.
If you select "join game on internet," you will be connected to the internet, and if you dont have halopc updates, the game will automatically install these for you. You might have to restart your computer for this, and if you do, just follow their instructions.
Once thats all done, you should be in the Internet Lobby. It uses gamespy as a server (i think) and if the lobby is empty (ie. there are no games around,) clik the refresh button at the bottom of the screen. That should bring up a long, long list of games.
Click on one twice and youll be connected to their game. enjoy.
If that doesnt work, you may need to configure your connection settings. Go to options>Network settings and (this is where my info gets a bit unreliable) i think you edit your connection.
By the by, shouldnt all this be in the instruction manual?
Then again, who reads instruction manuals?
