According to halopedia: * In the early design of Terminal, the light rail train was originally going to be engulfed in flames and people inside screaming could be heard as it passed by. The flames were later removed, probably because it was assumed to be too harsh, even for a multiplayer map. The screaming of panicked passengers can still sometimes be heard if you are attentive, as well as the conductor sounding the horn of the train though much easier to hear. To hear this somewhere else go to the sound file website given above and listen to the "Passengers connecting to Orbital Shuttle Hub board westbound trains" file. I won't be sleeping well tonight. Can you imagine that added in with darkness enshrouding the map. It would be one freaky map.YF

I can only imagine how they must feel. Even though they are not being immolated, those poor people are still trapped on a speeding train.Excellent find.[Edited on 06.19.2008 10:47 AM PDT]

I told my friend about this a year ago when we were in a system link game and he didn't believe me so we messed around for 10 minutes and when he heard it, he shouted "Oh my God your right! Thats creepy!" I thought it was funny.
Dianna Agron is the epitome of perfection.Quinntology.
They are forever trapped in a looped out of control train. That is pretty freaky though, put together Ghost Town, Terminal, and the creepiness of Backwash and...I'm scared already.
That would be awesome if it was still in flames.
never heard it

That's kinda disturbing. =o
All throughout history great empires rise and fall. How you ask?Two reasons:1. Economic failure because of either inflation or socialistic programs.2. War. Their armies were spread too thin and too far from home. The United States has bases all around the world in "hazardous" areas and it's economy collapses it seems every 20 years. Do you really think that history won't change? Do you really think that you can run the world?
I think it is good that bungie took that out, it would cause nightmares and less gaming.
Posted by: xlegendary llamaI think it is good that bungie took that out, it would cause nightmares and less gaming.Having experienced Ravenholm and the original Doom games, I don't think a flaming train would cause nightmares.
Ravenholm FTW did zombie chopper lol any way i a train on fire wont scare you but what about all those 5 year olds playing jk
Ravenholm, man. Some parts where scary, I'll admit. To make terminal scarier, imagine the bodies of the people hanging out, as the train was on flames, and organs sputtering at players passing by. THAT is scary.
Oh and SGT Raymour, or something, try Condemned, the original one that is. That was scary.
whats "Ravenholm"?
