I told him that his best option was eithr the nvida fx5500 or the ati radeon 9250 am i right or is there a better Pci video card outh there? And whats the best FPS that he can get out of these cards[Edited on 2/16/2005 2:37:40 PM]
Any one
I really doubt he'll see any performance increase, but the 9200 or 9550 (is it PCI) are the best he'll get.
9550 aint pci m8 its agp, hes got a dell 2400 aint he the ass. tell him to get the 9250 if it is pci and make but u mite wana o/c it thu but not too far with those pci cards.
DON'T!The 9250 sucks! I had it once, and the Framerate is like 10. I'd say you get atleast a Radeon 9600 PRO. Stay away from the nVidia GeForce. It sucks.
I had a 9250 and I could run Halo at 1024x768 with barely any lag (Like only when lots of people were moving around and there were people dying and tons of stuff going on) during multiplayer but I never tried campaign with it.
eDXiLE, he said all he has is PCI, and those need AGP.Ouch, I thought the 9500 might be PCI. Guess he'll be stuck with the piss poor 9200. I'd suggest a new computer...ugh...DELL!!!
greenxpanda Can you give me some benchmarks for the Ati Raedon 9250 like what kind of framerates would i get at what resouitons.. `Lets say 640 by 480 or 800 by 600 because i think at those resouitons the grapics are good enough
