How do you do it, without mixing up your XBox with others'? Me, I just make sure I'm always playing on my own XBox so it doesn't get mixed up, and I don't bring my own copy of Halo. I have friends who have like three copies of the game at their houses, and have no idea which is theirs, and they're all scratched to crap. I take meticulous good care of my XBox stuff, at home and at LAN parties. I can distinguish my controller that I bring pretty easily; it's the only clear-green official Controller S at any of the Halo/Splinter Cell parties.

I'm thinking about putting a Flying Ninja sticker on my XBox. How do you keep track of yours when playing 16-player Halo into the late hours of the night?

Well, I have no touble distinguishing my Xbox as I always know what T.V. it's on and I make sure it doesn't go anywhere, so I do nothing with that. However, I used to mix up controllers and end up with somebodies old greasy used-to-be a controller. So I put the twisty ties that bind up the cord in the original package and I wrap it around the cords.

I have a case that opens from the front and back so during Lan parties it doesn't get screwed up or ruined (my friend's turned gray somehow). Or I always make sure mine is the one I'm playing on.

Yeah, I usually keep mine in the case or bag I'm using, and play on it myself. I really only take my full setup to Splinter Cell parties, since there's just like four or five people at those, and each person needs an XBox. At local Halo matches, we almost always have plenty of XBoxes in the first place.

Me: "OMFG, Dude... wtf!"
AbolitionofMan: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to betray you."
Me: "That's the 4th time in this game alone!"
Chris: "Third, besides he had the flag I was trying to stop him, how was I supposed to know you were there."
Me: "I said, 'I got the Flag, don't shoot.'"
Chris: "Well those Wraith shots take a while to reach you."
Me: "You were right next to me, I had killed him and a minute passed before you decided to shoot."
Chris: "Hahahahaha, yeah... that was great."

I have a modded case, (as well as box LoL), the Controller ports light up green when in use, and my controller cord plugs ligt up green as well when plugged in.

It's pretty hard to mix up x-boxes... but all of my controlers have my initials engraved on the back of them so I don't ever get some -blam!- trying to swap one of their crap controllers for one of my good ones (I really need to get some new people to play with)

yeh i keep my (4) controllers connected to my box at all times, ive never had trouble with the box's bein swapped seeing how its got all your saves and music and stuff on it. its copies of halo i find are the prob, ive had halo awhile so my disc's getting in bad shape. so my freinds always check they dont take mine. but i would NEVER swap mine for a better one.

...Where i have cleverly noted down the last 3 digits of my box and controllers...

I taped up the parts I didn't want painted and then painted my XBOX white, (mainly the X on top) and then put a label with my address and name on the bottom. As for controllers, I put a little label over the back where it says "Controller S" so it says my innitials. I put these stickers that are little green dots on all the cables for the XBOX, as well as the small cords that plu the controller cable into the XBOX. My stuff aint going nowhere.....

I got tip-ex and wrote my initials on the underside of the XBOX. Also the fact of its name and the stuff on it my give me a clue which is my XBOX.

For my controllers I put white tape on the connecters going to the XBOX port, the 'pull out' connectors and at the contoller itsself. I wrote my initials in black permanant marker on all these bits of white tape. I bring my copy of Halo, but everyone in the group always makes sure that the owner of that particular XBOX and the copy of Halo are the same. Usually the XBOX is packed at the person's home with Halo inside and never leaves the XBOX while anywhere else.

I always know what TV my Xbox is on. I usually mark the Xbox with several pieces of tape. Each piece of tape has my last name written on it. I even put a piece of tape on the disc tray.
As for the controllers, I always use my own. If I switch Xbox's during a LAN party, I will take my controller with me.

I used magic marker on my controller, which worked until it rubbed off. It's not as permanent as I thought it was, but it lasts for quite a while so I haven't yet applied it a third time. My machine doesn't go anywhere when it's being played with, so I don't have a problem there. I keep the discs in thier cases when they aren't in the tray and I keep the cases with my machine.

I modified my xbox case so the xbox jewel in the center lights up, and painted the "X" a metallic silver. =D so I really dont have a problem with where mine is
