I think it's just coded to make fun of me. That's really all it is. I am the center of the system, and all your ranks are there to change mine.Hence why you're back to Mythic. ;)
In which case, we could safely state that there is no set number of individuals for any group, that there's probably a modifier that an individual gains X trust per day, Y trust for active contribution, Z trust for positive reporting and -W for bad reports, -V for reports against and -U for bans/warnings. I'd assume that only X and Z were 'set' values, with Z being set by number of positive reports, and Y is a subjective value attributed based on a mix between some unknown values of post counts/thread activity/post length?
-W would probably be a set value, probably higher than that of the Z, so as to discourage bad reporting, -V would possibly be static, although it may have the possibility to have multiple values depending on the infraction and -U would depend on the length of the ban.
I think I've missed several values, or oversimplified a few, but that seems a reasonable guess. It would need some work to be an educated one, mind.
So yeah, I think we can do away with the notion that people replace those who get demoted, as there doesn't appear to be a set number of individuals per group (it was 200 Mythic before, now it's 259), so it's an independent system with benchmarks (Interquartile ranges, if you will) in which someone passes a certain level on a moving scale.
Mind, I think all of this has been said before.
