Every so often, while playing Campaign (I don't know about live), an imprint of the level I'm playing comes on the screen and stays. This has happened to others so it's fairly common. Typically all I do is restart the level and it is gone.

Has there ever been a fix for this?

all I know is that if you jump off of lockout it goes away

Not that I know of, most of the time if you hit a cut scene it should go away, or as you said restart a level. I guess its something to do with the emulator in the 360. I know way back when it was the reason backwash had to be taken out of all the playlists.

RIP Halo 2

I have it happen on lockout at times. It hasn't happened since I stopped playing halo 2 constantly.

Thanks for the comebacks, guys. I figured there was no fix, I'll just continue to deal with it I guess.

Then there are the people who poop in the mash potatoes. Those people get launched out on their asses.

No fix that I know of. Very annoying though

Sometimes when I look at the moon at night, my mind embraces the thought of a love so vivid and true that I almost believe it is real. Then, due to my delusions, I am forced back into reality and begin to indulge myself in real life vices such as chocolates and German board games to get that once natural high.

Well did you get your Xbox right when they came out? I'm saying this because I have a newer Xbox and this doesn't happen to me on Halo 2.

Yeah, I got it as soon as it came out. Sometimes waiting is good because there's always things to fix.

It's not actually on your TV, it's in the game so I don't think so. The only way I know of to burn an image onto your TV screen is by leaving it on that image too long.

Here is mine: Youtube

Sorry for the low quality, I used Windows Movie Maker. I hate .WMVs.

What I hate is having paid $400 for the shadow. By the way, the quality wouldn't be bad if you turned the brightness up while in WMM before you record.

I got the shadow a few times with my old 360 but haven't seen it at all with my new one.

You mean turning up the brightness in the device settings? And generally I use .MPEGs or .MP4s for videos I upload to youtube so they come out somewhat better. I just happened to recording in WMM because I only had 100 megabytes left on my hard drive and I was trying to save space.
