Assault rifle accuracy test:
Stand a few feet away from a wall and give a burst. Don't move, but examine the holes. They should be pretty close to the center. Now fire and hold. When the clip runs out, look at the bullet holes. Accuracy went to hell didn't it?
Move even further back and to another location. Repeat test. The burst holes should still be fairly centered. The continuous fire marks should be way scattered. If they're not, theres a problem.
I know this all because I did the test ages ago, repeatedly. Every time, the burst was more accurate.
In short, shoot less and kill faster. Screwy heh?
