Somebody showed me the Scarab Gun in Halo 2 once.
I was like WHOA DUDE, WHOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAA
Then I sorta blanked out in a red haze and when I came to, everyone was dead.

Extremely informative, but I already use these good measures to secure my Interwebz stuff.

good post OP

yeah my gamertag for xbl has no info of value,

like where it says i live . . . [removed by moderator]

my bio is [removed by moderator]

my name is not my name but [removed by moderator].

I don't put any info of use on my GT let alone use credit cards to play on xbl, I love the prepaid cards, less of a hassle and less info I have to worry about.

You cna never be too safe from protecting your account.

Be sure that, in informing others how you protect your own account, you don't post your account information in this thread ;-)

Over the Rock, Through the bush, nothing but Jackal. Plasma Grenade, Jackal. Jackal, 'Nade. Blue Fire, then lights out. Bye Bye, Snipes.

"Halo! Its divine wind will rush through the stars, propelling all who are worthy along the path to salvation."

Is there a way to change your Bungie.net password or Windows Live password?

Fozzy...

Please dont flame.

When making a Live ID that your gonna use for your Xbox LIVE tag here are a few things I do to make my tag secure.

Underscores -
Microsoft employees are really stupid and this trick makes them go out of there tiny little minds.
Make your email have loads of underscores in it, for example my last Live ID was: s_____ee_____s@live.co.uk

I am still not entirely sure why this works but I know for a fact that it does work to an extent. I have heard things like on there screen it just looks blank so they cant reveal the exact email or they think they dont have access to the account.

Credit Cards -

If I were you I WOULD definatly put a Credit Card on your account. You dont have to pay for memberships with it but just have it on there just incase.
Reason being if your account does get stolen MS HAVE to give it back.

Dont worry about the hacker maxing out yours or your parents card because the most you can spend at one time is about £100 and your gonna get that back.

Change your Windows Live ID often -

Change Your Windows Live ID often, simply because it can only be changed twice in three months. So if someone takes your account they wont be able to change the Live ID anytime soon which means you can get your tag back easier.

Password resets and Flags -

When you make the LIVE ID never, ever use the secret question and location bollocks its simply dumb.
Use the alternate email feature and make the alternate email on another company like Yahoo.
If someone was tryna take your tag its easier for them to reset the password because MS have been known to give away answers to secret questions.

I delibrately flag my own account because im not going to forget my passwords, if you have a bad memory write it down on a bit of paper and swallow it or sumthing.
You can flag your account by trying to reset the password 5 or 6 times and delibrately failing, it will take away the ability to reset the password altogether.

A few more thing sfor the more stupid of players to remember.

Never use real information on your Live ID or accounts section on your Xbox, if you do a hacker would have your tag in 5 mins.

Dont sign in anywere that asks for your Live ID and password unless its verified.

If you sign up to cheating/booting/hacking forums, dont use legit emails and Passes because the people who own those type of sites are less then friendly characters

I hope this a help.

This is some of the stuff i do for my account and is great help for all the people that do not do this. The credit card thing is very true as well especially when T2 account got hacked and had a card on it.

Oh okay, I get it. I tried making a post like this and I get banned. Yeah, nice Foman. He even said help by letting others know. I "helped" way before Foman made this post.

I hate when you guys think freedom of speech applies to private groups.

When your "founding fathers" declared you can say whatever the hell you want, they designed it so the government wouldn't squelch everyone just because they felt like it, not so you can whine on the interweb forums of private groups.
