People complain that the forums are overloaded, and they're mostly right. If you guys [gracious bungie.net employees] had time it might be nice to add mod points into the forums. Anyone that is a member of RVSB will know what I'm talking about. Basically when you view a post you get to mark it. Some of them include:

WTF

Zing!

Lame

Cool

Funny

Ditto

noob
You only get so many to use and it reflects in people’s karma level. Karma moves up or down depending on the points you are given. For example someone with -110 WTF is not going to be a very high level where as people with +20 cool will be very high. Dunno what people will think of this. Any comments?

Bungie has been thinking about a karma system, but it's still undetermined, as far as I know. But from what I've heard, it wouldn't quite be the same as what you said.

Oh no doubt. Bungie is creative. I'm sure they'd think of something fitting more to their style..

I wouldn't really say creative, it's more... Simple. Well what they have said they were considering is that active, positive, an contributive members would accumulate karma points, so every time you make a positive post, or contribute something to the community, it goes towards your karma level, and you can then get "special things" in return for being a good member.

I wonder what bungie does when someone uses those phrases all the time..

Devil is Double is Deuce and Joker always trumps Deuce.

I don't really like the RvB karma system. It's kinda useless. but, maybe it's just me.

yeah on red vs blue it is. But there are so many issues on Bungie.net about good users vs bad users it would help to sort it out. People who are really good users can be given something cool where as bad ones are downgraded.

Simmions: Hey grif are you ok?
Grif: I've done hard time simmions. I'm not the man you used to know.
Simmions: Hard time?! we've only been seperated for 5 hours.
Grif: Time moves slower on the inside...It felt like seven or eight hours to me. .

Red Vs Blue.... that was a great line
