"Let The World Be My Witness"

When I tried to save keyes I always tried to save him, I mean when he started screaming in some parts of the level I just ran down the halls ignoring flood combat forms just heading down to save him, but always I tried and tried until I gave up, decided to finish the game :S.

Funny thing is that I later realized that you could never save him, in the game he HAD to die he could never be saved, which of course crushed me at that young age because I always thought you could save him, I may sound noobish, but its the truth.

I always had imagined what would have happened if he survived......but well to bad

why bungieeee why !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that is the way it goes, because in halo 2 at the beginning they talk about him when they are awarding Miranda Keyes, So he kinda had to die or they would be talking about him being dead when he wasnt

Yeah, Kinda like how Sgt Johnson's in Halo 2 and 3, when it was quite obvious that he really had no chance of survival when we had last seen him outside the Autumn, hugging an Elite when it blew up :p I don't think Bungie thought Johnson's character through when they made the first Halo.

But ya know, Keyes didn't have to die in order to finish the game. You could have saved him and he'd give you the data disc or whatever it was. Then you wouldn't have to put up with Miranda for the next two games.

I know, it felt bad just seeing as MC punched through the sack-thing and taking something out and just ignoring the fact he just killed his "boss"

Remember, The Chief hesitated on killing Keyes. Cortana had to convince him.

The totally alone feeling they were going for towards the end.
Just "lucky" you and the big C.
And in case you'd forgotten her, they show the death of Foehammer for completionist purposes.
(See other thread)
Only Dustin made it.

I always wondered if it was actually military protocol to award the next of kin within the service the medal...

I always offer fair game and usually allow some "extermination" of my teammates. I think that anyone should be able to play Halo or any other game they please.

It is,if you were shot or killed, the military would give it to your most decorated sibling or your parents.

Neo has officially been promoted to barf cleaner-upper and pukee hair holder.
I am honored to have that position. While your barfing I can steal your wallets!

It's creepy enough that people stalk Bungie via Webcams, but it's even worse how they stalk back.
