Well Enough Alone...

~"The people who play Bungie games tend to sense that there's something behind the games that's attractive to them. Then they become fans of the games. And then they become rabid fans. And then they become employees of Bungie."(Life story) -Marty

When I run Sapien on the Tutorial map provided, the game window is all white, but I can still here sound effects. When i press ~, the sound effects stop as If I had opened the command prompt, but I don't see it. It's just white. When I press ~ again, the sounds resume. What could be the problem and how do i fix it?

Also, can you recommend any free EASY 3D modeling programs other then 3ds max, gmax, 4D cinema, and XSI mod tool, or tell me how to export maps from Google sketch up into one of those? Thank you!

I have 3ds max (trial), Gmax, 4d cinima, XSI mod tool, and google sketch up. Plenty of 3d modeling programs.

But the "Game window" in Sapien that is supposed to show atleast the sky or something is just blank white, not even showing the command prompt. Also, for some reason my Sapien looks different then the one in the tutorial. What does that mean?

Also, if you know how to import sketch up models into one of the above programs, that would help too.

Thus he came alone to Angband's gates, and he sounded his horn, and smote once more upon the brazen doors, and challenged Morgoth to come forth in single combat. And Morgoth came.

No.

And do this:

Right click on the desktop and go to NVIDIA control panel.
Go to 3d settings, and then click on the "Take me there."
Turn off anti-aliasing.

Also, load up sapien and DO NOT open a scenario.
Press ctrl, alt, and delete.
Go to task manager.

Under processes, find sapien.
Right click it and select, "Set affinity."
Make sure only one box is checked (CPU 1 or CPU 0, it doesn't matter, if one does not work, try the other).

Press ok and close task manager.

Load a scenario.

Or, you may just be below the level.
Try to move around with the camera.
