Personally, I get the feeling this guy looked into this far too much and did little more than embellish upon rather flimsy proofs. I do acknowledge the amount of research and thinking behind his theory but it’s really only that; a theory - based solely on speculation – with nowhere near enough grounds to present a plausible argument. While reading the Parson's theory I actually received the opposite impression; that 'bots were going to be too much of a hassle and contradict a game with so much emphasis with online play. But hey, that’s just me. As for the whole class-based multiplayer; I sincerely hope not. Halo is a FPS, with balance, charm and brilliance. I would be extremely disappointed to find that a class system has been implemented.
Additionally, in regards to the Chief's color discrepancy, I tend to lean more towards it being a product of the lighting engine. That is to say, the darker olive Chief is darker in color mainly because of his environment. Edit: Wow, that's a rather weak argument as well... This one might be up for consideration on my part.
Again, all we can do at this point is speculate. I admire Kain for his apparent devotion and thirst for answers - it's much easier to shoot down a theory than it is to create one; so kudos to you Kain on an insightful, intelligent approach.
And on a side note; might I recommend a dictionary to the two who seem to have the words optimistic and pessimistic confused.
