I run 4 dedicated servers and for some reason they just magicly disapeared off the game spy network!! I have checked them and I can direct IP into them but they no longer show up in the Game Spy server list. Can someone please help me, I have no clue what has happened or how to fix this issue.

Thanks

I have had this from time to time and all I can say is... relax! As much of a pain in the ring that it is with servers that keep dissapearing, I'm pretty sure that it's something at the Gamespy end.

I have been playing with my server for nearly a year now and occasionally (every few weeks or so... maybe longer) I seem to become totally invisible to all players, but you can join if you have the IP...

Do yourself a favour and try to sit on your hands to stop you from trying different things to get it working again. Give it some time (the longest I've ever had to wait is 2 days...), and then restart your server... If it still doesn't show up, just wait a bit longer!

Seriously dude, I've had this happen on a few occasions and although it makes me errr, slightly tense, it seems to be an integral part of Halo game servers...

Is it a paid server or is it one you've set up yourself? I don't know if a paid server is different or not, because I've never had one, but if you are running it on a second machine, then I know a bit about that...

After completely shutting it down, giving it a few minutes and starting up again see if you can see it. If you are trying to run it from your own PC that you use for playing, you will need to forward the ports that Halo uses to connect. It's easily done... just go into 'Settings' on the main menu and go to 'Network'. Change the ports up (or down...) a couple of numbers. Like 2303>2305...

Does this help?
