Let's see, button glitches, easy to hack/mod, overly large hitboxes for the elites, massive auto-aim. Sounds kind of messed up to me.

Please to clarify.
Are the button glitches on Campaign ?
And on what setting is the auto-aim in such effect ?
There's always been a slight (and sometimes annoying) auto-aim aspect, even on the harder settings.

Am Campaign only, so will take your word on the problematic hacking.
Never noticed the hitboxes being that big.
Hmmm....must play another 100,000 hours for confirmation....

Okay, button glitches helped the skill factor and elites deserve larger hitboxes, they're bigger. I do agree though that the standbying and modding was ridiculous.

I'd say my only gripe apart from having to tredge through the Flood as the Arbiter, was the Cut-scenes snapping into focus a bit at a time. Especially at the beginning, it just looks ugly and amateurish. You see a green blob sailing across a brown tract with purple cubes chasing after it, only for the detail to judder into being to realize Master Chief is being chased by Ghosts on Earth.
Painful graphics. I thought there was something wrong with my Console.

ARBITER, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S NOT BUTTER!!! WORT WORT WORT.

That's exactly it. Halo 3 sucked the minute I couldn't cross the river and sneak up behind the Jackal snipers on Sierra 117. Not to mention, Halo 3 Jackal snipers on Legendary give you enough time for a hair cut before shooting at you. There's nothing worse than the Halo 2 Jackal snipe that takes off your finger and kills you. Like I said, don't get me started.

Oh yeah! :D

Just the fact that we could get out of multiplayer maps and explore with our friends was, quite literally, the only reason I ever wanted to play multiplayer. And I love getting out of campaign levels too. I was really expecting to be able to explore Halo 3's campaign and multiplayer, but the thing is, even if there weren't any invisible barriers, there's nothing to explore anyway.

The multiplayer is 10x funner in Halo 2 than the others. If onlyt he graphics were up to par with Halo 3's.

Campiagn Kill Count :31,745. And growing.

The Revisionaries- One of the greatest screenshot groups on B.net. With 250 members and growing.

They didn't do that bad on Halo 2. There were the button glitches and stuff, but they sepereated the good players from the bad players.

As soon as I hit my 50 on Halo 3, I'm going back to Halo 2.

Any game will have faults. The bottom line, in MP, is there would not have been 2.5 million people playing H3 in the last 24 hours without H2 leading up to it.

For Campaign, I loved H1, then H2 (even better than H1) and now I can't stand playing H3.

When I look back at it, Halo 2 IS a great game, overall, along with its predecessor, Halo CE. The campaign had lot of work on it. (They did not recycle any levels like they did in Halo CE) and bungie, despite rushing it a bit, worked really hard on it. I get plenty of joy, fighting the old covenant, and then, fighting the brutes, which makes a change on fighting, requireing accuracy and some luck with some sticky grenades.

Plus, playing as a covie that can camo for a little bit really changes gameplay on higher difficulties, requireing you to be more of an assasin, over fighting from afar as a human in order to progress successfully.

People who think Halo 2 is messed up, are only looking at the negatives, over having a good time wtih a good game.
