Plug another controler in and play against your foot.
Hah! yeah I've been playing against my feet every now and then!
I havent noticed anyone else saying this, so I'll give my pointers:
Obviously, you want to keep moving; but when you're aiming at someone, yes, keep moving. Alot of people stop in their tracks and aim (then fire) only to be sniped by someone else off in some random location.
Its usually bettter (for me anyway) not to aim with the right thumbstick, but to aim with the left (movement) thumbstick, because you can easily over aim and miss someone by moving the looking thumbstick too far, but if you're body moves with your target, you'll be that much sharper.
What I love to do (especially in sidewinder) is once I get the sniper rifle, I treck along the outside edges of the map keeping the scope zoomed at 2x and constantly fanning the field for any movement. That way I can notice who's who, where they're goign and if I should kill them or not (threat level basically) I just love it when I see an enemy grab my flag and walk out of the base, only to be sniped because I was tracking them the whole time. I hardly use 10x zoom unless I need to make a really precise shot (the target hasnt noticed me, he's really far, etc) since 2 shots will kill anyone, you can easily follow someone at 2x, then zoom in for the head shot afterwards.
Oh, and obviously, if you're far away and the targets moving, keep a lead on them. Its usually not much: when the target is just outside of the circle reticle, thats a good point to fire.
Hope that helps
