I have recently seen the triangle on Delta Halo for myself and don't think that it does anything. It's the same color as the sea floor, so I just say someone at bungie forgot to color it in. As for the switch, I still believe that that does something. Just not sure what yet. But the triangle does nothing at all.

If the switch does do something (I doubt), then the same switch in High Charity (or Gravemind, I forget) does something too, at least I think it would. Why only have one switch that has a dual purpose?

Something I've been curious about. If the switches are just placeholders, shouldn't there be one on every level that has an in-game switch?

To your first question, I can only say that we(the people that play Halo 2)need to explore High charity more. There must be something that the switches do. We just need to find out what. As to your second question, I was wondering that, too. That is strange that there isn't a placeholder switch for in-game switches, unless they have their own purpose, outside of the game story.
