Hmm, the end of the Halo 3 ARG was west of the Mississippi, and so is this. I'm sorry, but this is rather disappointing, especially coming from a person who rarely complains. Based on what I've researched, the majority of the XBL users (in the US) reside on the eastern side of the United States, so one can only assume that the majority are Halo fans.
I would like to see bungie actually reach out to the entire US if not the world for the whole recon thing. A contest, if you will. Something that doesn't require going on road trips or spending an excess amount of money for some silly armor (mind you that I am fond of it). An internet scavenger hunt, to find this "bungie employee" would be much more exciting and much more open to the public, and especially to those who supposedly deserve recon.
I'm sorry to say, but how does Bungie expect to conquer the world if they can't do the minor things, like completely reaching out to their community and giving them all an equal chance?
I apologize, but I just feel like I'm being cheated here.
I feel ya man, but maby this member is going to Disney Land for a family trip and has no plans on going to the east. (he'd prob get hustled or run on by some kids from Queens or Delphia).
But i do see your point, they should just create a fair way or comp for everyone to participate in so those who truly want this hard to come by feature have a fair shot at it.
And your right, more people in the East play Halo 2 and 3 then in the West, i mean look at the map in MM its always lit up at all times of the hour.in the East.
I took your GT down bro, so if par chance (which is such a long shot) i run into whoever this culprit is giving out the FORBIDDEN i will give him your GT. COO ?
By the way i have an twitch feeling that this CULPRIT who's GIVING OUT THE FORBIDDEN will be in the Southern California Area, enjoying our Beautiful weather we are having.
