All the little red bar things remind me of No Smoking signs.

No because smoking is a very unhealthy habit and is proven to cause cancer, heart problems and can even cause blindness.
I've never had one in my life and don't intend to.

It was a joke man - and trust me we smokers can't STAND the anti-Smoking Rhetoric. It encourages us to blow the smoke directly in your face. If you leave us alone - We'll leave you alone...

AND GIVE US BACK OUR DAMN BARS!!!

I can't see why Europeans at least still smoke, with messages like "Smoking kills" and "Smoking damages your fertility" in huge writing on the packets.
Actually, there's a funny story about the latter. Apparently, a woman bought a packet of cigarettes from a shop and saw that message on the package. She responded by saying "Well, I'm not planning on having any more children, so it doesn't matter".

I look at it this way You can be healthy or unhealthy, you're gonna die either way, Maybe sooner than later, but hey, you could get hit by a bus tomorrow. I'm gonna die young fat and happy ( If in a little more pain) But I'm going on my own terms.
Remember JIM FICKS? Healthy living ain't helping you.

My favorite used to be, "If you detest my smoking so much you'll let me put this out on your face."

AND GIVE US BACK OUR DAMN BARS!!!That is bull-blam!-. It should be the bar owner's choice to allow smoking or not. It's called if you don't like smoke, go find another bar.

The only time I'll smoke is if I roll my own, which is rarely ever.

I can and have smoked, but I've never made it a habit. I can guess I've smoked maybe 15 times in the past two years.

Filtered cigarettes take away all the flavor. Without it I don't see any purpose in smoking.

Cigars > Cigarettes, especially for taste.

No kidding, ajenteks. No one smokes packaged cigarettes in the home I live in because they're expensive and smell like something that shouldn't exist. No one smokes cigars here because they're expensive too, though. My mother smokes and she's not too lazy to roll her own. I don't smoke, but if you have to I suggest trying rolling them. It's much cheaper, doesn't make me gag like the packaged stuff, and smells much better. I'm pretty sure they add stuff to the packaged dealies that you don't find in rolling tobacco. Just outta curiosity, what do the filter dealies do? People say they dampen the "flavour", and inhaling vapourised fibreglass can't possibly be better for you than whatever it holds back, so what are they for?

I think it's to make the smoke less dangerous.

I'm not sure that it helps. BUT It does keep the little pieces of tobacco out of my mouth, and it's a lot more convienent.
And since I moved out of New Jersey they're a hell of a lot CHEAPER.
