Well I've heard a lot of flak about a four player co-op being too easy. Well I found a way to solve that problem. Simple.

Make it so when you die, you are dead until the next check-point or loading sequence. At which point you are allowed to repawn. heck you could also make it so that it is every other check point adding additional skil to it.

Any comments or other campaign ideas are allowed in here for all I care. So please share them.

There could be more enemies, or the enemies could be more difficult.

More enemies yes, more difficult....nah. They can keep the strength the same or make it so that with three or four players it is mandated to at least play on Heroic or Legendary.

Here's a thought.. let gamers play as both Spartans AND Marines/ODST's.

They could also do what SvenCOOP (a mod for half-life) did... It's a really good mod btw... They made special maps (user made maps) that people pretty much competed for points and trying to do specific things (like defending a building in one)...

I know this wont happen due to lack of memory/space/all that stuff, but:

They should widen the levels X2, like have twice as wide halls, battlefields, 2 warthogs instead of one- for everything in the level, and have twice as many enemies...that way, each spartan would have to kill the same number of enemies (theoretically) in 1 player campaign and in 4 player co op mode.

You are correct. It wouldn't be possible to do that, but can't you accomplish the same thing with just adding more enemies?? BTW, I really like that only respawning at check points idea. I know that I would be very carefull if I knew that if I died I would have to wait to the next check point to respawn.

Yeah, the checkpoint thing isn't a bad idea, but if the game is anything like the first one, then the checkpoints won't be too far apart. That kinda defeats the purpose. But it could still work. And I think that giving the covies extra health and giving them some backup would increase the difficulty plenty.
