this may have been answered before..
but how powerful of a graphics card would i need to recreate the true active camoflage look that actually refracts the scenery?

i recently upgraded to a Geforce FX 5700 LE which runs great and makes the game look beautiful, but during invisibility the players just turn 90% opaque.

i thought my card would be powerful enough to handle the true active camo look, unless they took that out for Halo PC?

Dimension 8100
1.4 ghz Pentium 4
640mb RAM
Geforce FX 5700 LE

LE = Limited Edition = not as good as the normal edition. It's a stripped down version of the 5700, which should display camo effectively.

ah lovely. well it's too late to return it since i got it for xmas, and i'm too broke to pick up something nicer. at least this card overclocks nicely for what it is.

Yeah, in all actuality you can overclock it to near the regular 5200 speeds. all they do is set the clock speed a bit lower, and sometimes skimp on the chipset, but nothing a little overclocking won't do. If you want to overclock it a bit more you can get a better cooling, but, you can only get so much from it.

Besides, now you can see the players while they're invisible (!!!)
