I have a really, really stupid question here. How do I properly apply the new update? Do I just download the .zip file and extract it to my MicrosoftGames/Halo folder?

What is the correct way? I'm sort of new to this.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

halo.exe goes in your Halo folder, and copies over the existing halo.exe. haloce.exe goes in the Halo Custom Edition folder (if you have Halo CE), etc.

What about the other files in that folder? Do I just move them to my Halo and Halo CE folders and then they will save over the old ones?

haloded
haloceded
Strings.dll
Strings.dll

Ugh.

From the Halo PC folder, put halo.exe and Strings.dll into the Halo folder on your hard drive.

From the Halo CE folder, put haloce.exe, Strings.dll and haloceded.exe in the Halo Custom Edition folder on your hard drive.
