Moderator Note:

This thread is being locked solely for the reason that it is "off-topic" for The Library. This forum is designated specifically for discussing Halo 1 on Xbox (not Halo 2’s Multiplayer, Campaign or XBL). There are other dedicated forums for those subjects.

If you look at the forum listing in the upper right corner of the page, you will see all 12 of the Bungie.Net forums. The more popular ones even have a brief description of the topics they are setup to handle.

Posting threads in the wrong forum almost guarantees that they will be locked. Going to the right forum and taking a moment to scan the first few pages of it for similar topics can (and will) save you time and make sure the effort of posting isn't wasted when your thread becomes locked.

i can't sign in xbox live, somethings wrong somewhere, its not my connection, i think, i have a Bellsouth Fastaccess DSL Broadband connection, it goes from the wall to the xbox, i have to switch it to go on the computer. For some reason i try to log in on xbox live and it doesn't let me, it says trouble shoot, you have a PPoE Server Network, this has never happend ever to me, ive had live for about 3 months, im signed for 12, and it says, cable connected, X ip addresses, O DNS server not resolved, O Xbox live not reached, Ip address is connected with that PPoE -blam!-, and we dont use a user name or password or any settings, it should be automatic and now theres this problem, anyone have this before, or just know whats happening to it, tell me

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

Wrong place for that question
