And the War of 1812 was successful, being that a bunch of pretty much farmers with their daddy's musket defended America against what at the time was the greatest army in the world, Britain, but Canadians beleive that our post War of 1812 invasions in 1813 and 1814 against the British, who owned Canada pretty much at that point, were unsuccessfull. You see, if they were the War of 1812, it wouldn't of just been called the War of 1812. It'd of had some other catchy name like the three year war or something as history likes to do.
