!This question doesn't fit in any of the forums, so I figured this was the closest one!

I'm considering to buy Halo: CE to PC (20$), but since I own it for the xbox too, I won't buy it unless there's enough people online. I wonder if any of you know how many is playing Halo CE, or if any of you still play it?

Can u play halo 1 with ur xbox controller. I know u can with halo 2 because I've tried it
Yes you can. For the regular Xbox controller, you need an adapter. For the Xbox 360 controller, you just plug it in, install the drivers, and configure the controls. (You need to configure the controls and install the drivers for both)

Plus the 1000 is a lot better than the 10 000 of Halo2. This game shows the servers and it's very fast and easy to join, unlike Halo2 of Xbox.

There are plenty of people playing, but you may have to take your system specs into consideration. If you have a low end PC, go Xbox. If you have a decent to high end PC, go with the PC version.

No, there's about 10 000 Halo 2 Xbox players. Around 1000 HaloPC players.

But it's still easier and faster to find games on PC.

This is the only game I need for my laptop, enough said.

Most the servers that went down with the whole "halo boom" thing are back up now thanks to updates from wherever. I know I see plenty of full games lying around the lobby and there are still clans around to play.

I'll just say the last deal I saw for $20 was the starcraft battle chest. This is definitely worth it.

Most of the PC issues posted here are the result of PEBKAC.

Enjoy trying to lead with a controller.

Just find one that fits the gametype you like then or has the best ping. I'll tell you right now, if you hog noob in a server for a bit, you can easily build up a 16 man game.

Unless you're playing at like 4am in the morning where just about everyone is sleeping or at work =P

somewhere in the heavens...they are waiting. I love the Marathon Trilogy.
Halo CE will always be the best game in the Halo franchise. What a perfect game.

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

It's not that hard to lead with a Xbox 360 controller.
