Congratulations to all of you who just love to be mean to anyone who comes along that's just slightly different than you. The kid is just a late blooming imaginative, creative guy. We're all people, there's no real reason to be mean, I mean this kid has his hobbies, we have ours. Some of us can't say much different than this kid. I used to love playing with Legos. Do I now? No, i work on cars, street race, and play Halo. But do I assume an elitist mentality and snub my nose at anyone that comes along with some good old kiddish creativity? No. Because I know that he's JUST a kid, doing what he loves.
You saw 10 minutes of his life, and you assume you know everything about him. What if he does have friends? Perhaps he does have a girlfriend but he's not bragging about it like some of you. I'm sure he does have other hobbies. Do I know for SURE that he's not a no-lifer? No. But I prefer to see the positive side of things. And as for friends, I can call myself the kid's friend, because I udnerstand what it's like to be the nerd who knows more than the rest of the class, who has experienced having talents and skills like no other, only to get labeled as weird. Does that mean I would sit down and make cardboard weapons with him? No, I have other things I like doing. But I certainly won't be a jerk to someone I don't even know.
