Ok, how about this idea then....In the E3 2003 demo of single player, right at the end the MC gets captured by the 12 Black Elites...ok, he doesnt, but theres no way in hell he's not getting captured there. Now, what do the Covenant want you alive for? you have Cortana at that point so that probably a big thing. But what will they do with you? take you on a ship, definatly, take you too a station, highly possible, take you home for the Prophets? hmmm, also a possible. And being the MC theres always a way out of any situation. So maybe, ok a big maybe, you get captured, taken home, and escape and kick some butt on Covenant turf...or that 2003 E3 movie was just nice and pretty and has utterly no relavence to the game whatsoever.

No way he gets out? He's on a highway, so the possibility of a couple of warthogs pulling up must be completely out of the question. I know there aren't ANY dropships in the area either, so again he's in deep. And of course his legs don't work either, so running away or jumping over the side of the road, possibly on top of a previously-mentioned non-existent Pelican would not only be uncool, but just not possible.

...A little heavy on the sarcasm, but the basic idea is the solutions to a jam aren't always obvious.

BlueReaper Signing Off

!!!VAK ZOOI!!! is a term frequently used in multiplayer.

Gamertag: BlueReaper

No no no, the Elites just want to chat, they didn't come to kill you. In all of the action you don't see a single Elite, until the final scene, all you see are Grunts, Jackals and Brutes. The Elites realy come to seek your assistance in the end and they are igniting their swords, just in case you don't want to listen.

Hey its just a guess, I have no clue how MC got out of that mess, with so many energy swords within striking distance, i really cant think of anything else then that they are not going to fight at all. Wouldn't that be great for the first plot twist?

That would explain the multiplayer Elite character, they are supposed to train together, just like Chiron is a Spartan training facility. Now you get to train with or against Elites

As for the homeworld, i think there are indeed several Cov. worlds and not all of them will be equally defended, and MC & C will find a way to disable the defenses.
