I have a 360 hooked up to the internet through an Actiontec MI424WR (verizon Fios). It has the latest firmware, and never caused problems...

Until I pop in Halo 2 a few days ago (after not having played for a long time) and find out it's not working online. What happens is: the disc starts up, I sign into Xbox Live, and pick a playlist. The counter counts down and it starts searching for games. Then, after a few seconds, it makes it's own game (you know, you're the only one in it and at the top of the list). The problem is that it never finds any people; it just waits at that screen, displaying "Waiting for additional players..." (but it doesn't freeze, just doesn't find anybody).

I know I'm logged in because the friends list updates.

I tried the connection test which reports that the NAT is open. I think I'll try my original Xbox and see if that fixes the problem. What do you all think?

Edit: I know the population is on its last leg and it should take 1+ minutes to find a game (when it used to take about 15 seconds before Halo 3 came out). The problem is that I literally cannot find any matched players. I just left it on Team Slayer for 10 minutes, and it never found another game or players. It just makes a game, waits a few minutes, and makes another.

Edit #2: Plugged my original Xbox in and it's doing the same thing.

Campiagn Kill Count :31,745. And growing.

The Revisionaries- One of the greatest screenshot groups on B.net. With 250 members and growing.

Almost no one plays Halo 2 anymore. Everyone bought Halo 3.

The only ranked playlists poeple play anymore are Team Slayer and Team Snipers. But on the unranked you should be able to find at least one person.

My Xbox 360 has (now) decided to tell me the NAT is moderate, which has never happened before (guess that explains why it wouldn't match any other players). I put the Xbox in a DMZ but it still shows up moderate. Can someone with a lot of networking expertise help me?
