Hey all, I took these hilarious screenshots sometime last year and I think you'll like them.

Hold me! You find this if you beat the Maw in Legendary mode. Yes, they are hugging.

That's gotta hurt! If you look closely, you'll see a grenade where no one would like to see on themselves.

Enjoy!

oh boy, I once had this really funny one. It was on one of the bridges over one of the snowy canyons. I had just cleaned up everyone on the bridge and was just looking around for more grenades and I found this grunt on the edge of the bridge who looked like he was holding on for dear life! He wasn't alive, but his hands were placed just perfectly on the edge and his head was pointed towards the bridge as if looking for someone to help him. I think I still have it, but I'm not sure. I backed up the checkpoints, but when I updated Halo, they got screwed up.
Anyways, it was hilarious!

lol guys, I think I've discovered some sort of an easter egg by taking a SS once. On the bottom of MC's boot the initials MRL are present. I wonder if it has a significant meaning to it. I have a pic of it, but picserver is about a joke and every time I link a shot here from there, they either dont work or it takes all day to load.

MJOLNIR was a norse term, not sure if it was a god/hero or the god/hero's weapon. Probably the latter, that would make sense.

* Pr: ĭnʹtərnĕts: "I hear there's rumors on the uh (pause), Internets...

MJOLNIR, is the name of the Norse god of thunder, Thor, it was the name of his Hammer

MJOLNIR

Definition: The legendary weapon of the Norse God Thor. "Mjolnir" means "lightning." Made by the Dwarves Brok and Eitri, it possessed magical qualities. It would magically return when thrown, and was used for healing and even resurrection.

The hammer was feared by the enemies of the Aesir, and stolen by the frost Giant Thrym, who demanded the goddess Freyja in exchange for its return. Instead, Thor disguised himself as the goddess, siezed control of the hammer, and slew all of the giants in the hall.

The Thor's hammer is often used as an emblem of recognition for members of the Asatru faith.

just like the MC is a spartan, and the real spartans of ancient Greece were a great nation bred for war.

and the Pillar of Autumn is a Halcyon class cruiser, and the Halcyon was a mythical bird that was able to calm the seas and the winds

"They are, indeed, initials - those of Marcus R. Lehto, Halo's Art Director (and the man behind the Master Chief's skin)."

Although I seem to be a little late upon my dicovery, its still cool nonetheless to be able to find it for myself :D

This other stuff you guys speak of is completly alien to me, I have no idea what what all that is about. I guess that something to do with the books?

Ok, I found the picture of the Grunt holding for dear life. It's pretty funny how he landed perfectly on the edge of the bridge.

Hangin' on sorry if it's a little dark. It looks alot better on my computer than this one.

lol that's a good pic. Neverhood,

Btw the MJOLINER(sry bout the spelling it's 12 AM) amour the chief wears is really called that for it's power. In Norse mythology the Mjoliner was a great weapon to be weilded. And in the case of Halo, the Master Chef weilds the great weapon that is his powerful armour, the MJOLINER.
