Okay today I picked up Driver 3, as a side-note ignore all the scores given by the websites because this game is fricking Awesome! All right enough side-talk on with the review.
Graphics: you are probably wondering why I chose this section first, well for starters this game is beautiful the enviroments and the character and car models are very detailed, every point of the car can be realistically damaged and nice touch is bullet holes, that's right bullet holes, cars, trees, walls, you name it you'll find and see bullet holes in except Character models(Duh!), As for graphical bugs and glitchs with gameplay, etc. there are none.
10/10 for graphics.
P.S.:The enviroments are very expansive as well with High production values and plenty of hi-res textures everywhere.
Movie Editor: Well if your familiar with the Driver games there is a movie editor after every mission you can edit and replay your movies and over XBL you can post your Movie Masterpieces on Leader boards and people can watch them.
10/10 I'm not gonna spoil the features for you sorry!
Storyline: Not much to say so far since I'm still in the beginning of the game, so far 10/10.
Controls: Awesome, this game along with cutscenes and graphics excels in this area, although the on foot controls are somewhat clunky you can modify the aiming to be faster on the R-thumbsick, because on default the r-thumbstick for aiming is slow as mallasses and it is inverted so you can change it to un-inverted, like I said the on-foot controls are a little clunky but you will get used to them(They don't bother me that much). Driving Controls are very sleek and sexy, I like them, and very responsive.
10/10
Animation: this can be a problem considering that Tanner's animation isn't really smooth but it shouldn't bother you for long just think of Tommy Vercetti's Animations when walking and running and you get the idea:Kinda ruff. The Physics in this game are some of the best I've seen if not the greatest i've seen, since everything has its own physics even the most smallest of things like a Cone (you know the bright orange kind) or a box, the cars handle beautifully the same goes for all the other vehicles I've fiddled with so far.
10/10
Sound: I almost fainted when I heard the sound of this game cause it is completely awesome, from the vehicles to the guns to the music this game rocks in sound design. Also if your tired of the same songs in the Take a Ride mode as well as any other mode in the game you can go into the options menu on the Main Menu and change the Default music into your custom tracks on your xbox hard Drive and play them in-game.
10/10
Closing Comments: Overall, Driver 3 is a rewarding experiance and this is coming from someone who absolutely hates the first 2 Driver games and is not a bad purchase at all and should be in everybody's library of games.
Final score:10/10
I hope you enjoyed the review. :) ;)
