Heyyo,

Hmm, no, SLI technology ain't x2 faster than even 1 of the same vidcard. SLI technology ain't that efficient. 3DFX did an incredible job before, If you could get 2 voodoo 3's running together your preformance was very close (if not) x2 the speed of 1 card. Then again, they both ran on PCI busses that were the same speeds.. Nvidia bought out 3DFX quite a while back, I'm amazed they diddn't bother to use more stuff by 3DFX cause their stuff really pwned... After bying out 3DFX they just fired everyone n' shut them down, not very efficient at all..

Anywho, I'm sure graphics will be plenty nice with me Sapphire Radeon 9800 PRO. Imo it's better than the stock ati fan since it has the same heatsink/fan setup as the x800 series. Ya know? the huge n' long ones that even have a pci slot exhaust at the back? soo brutal. :)

ok you hihi -blam!- wtf are you trying to do here. mard knows a lot more about computers than youll probably ever know. you just think your all that because you bought an alienware. your still a noob in this forun dude, you were a member for 4 days now and you think your smarter than mard who has been here over a year. and he does know what he's talking about, he actually builds computers like almost everyone on this forum, if it werent for my parents i would build a computer myself, and mard has helped my make all of my most critical hardware upgrades. so you can be the one shutting up for a change.

Not to be mean kid, but stop being a d-bag. It is proven that two nVidia 6800's are not twice as fast as one. Actually, they are 1.5 times, give or take a bit. Hence why a *single* ATi card can still beat out dual nVidia's in certain games that are Direct3D optimized, like Half Life 2.

you said you are 11 and don't know much about pc's. Well, Mard, me, the slew of others here that I know, we know a lot mainly because we've been on these forums and others learning and using the forums to learn and just talk...and many of us have built our own pc. It's a forum on the internet. It's casual, it's relaxed, no need to get angry.

Why do I get the feeling he still won't get it?

my thread is getting off topic, sigh

sexy legs, i thought our mini arguement about ATI and nvidia was over. i thought we agreed to the fact that ATI is more better deals, but nvidia is only a little stronger these days, but not too much. nvidia beats every game at 1600 resolution but ATI is cheaper and stayes up with nvidia. basically what i just said is that they are about the same.
