Hmm. I'm disappointed like everyone else here.
In response to the Microsoft-hate it's worth remembering that they're trying to run a business, and if they think their products stand the greatest chance of success by being kept under wraps for longer, they're perfectly at liberty to do so. What is apparent though is that communications have at some point broken down between the two parties, or someone was being far from professional. The important thing from here on is how the PR is handled, and it could be aruged that the post on the front door of bungie.net wasn't the most level-headed and professional way of handling the situation, but with creative people passions often take precedence.
There is always the possibility that whatever was going to be announced simply wasn't ready yet in Microsoft's eyes - let's face it, we'd all rather see something amazing at TGS than something that wasn't standout 'best at show' at E3.
