EXCLAIMER- This thread might have been done already, but I am just too lazy to find the other ones.

I see there have been a ton of threads discussing the similarities between human and Covenant vehicles that have been introduced for Halo 2, such as the ATV being the answer to the Ghost and the stationary LAAG being the human equivelent to the Covenant Shade. What I wanted to point out is that the Scorpion isnt actually an equal to the Wraith.

Yes, theyre both tanks, but Scorpion preforms more like a real tank being that it fires line of site shots that are more direct. The Wraith on the other hand, is more like a mortor, in that it fires in an ark at distant targets. Being that some of the game is based on earth, Im sure that the UNSC will have a bigger arsenal at there disposal.

What I want to know is if Bungie will make a Covenant tank like the Scorpion, or if theyll make a artillary gun similar to the Wraith. Just seeing if anybody else was thinking of this.

That'd be really cool to have a plasma version of the Scorp. But I'v noticed that all giant lasers in Halo1 always arched downwards. Their lasers seem to suffer greatly from gravity. Even a charged up plasma pistol arches slightly downwards. Look at the big laser in the Halo2 2003 E3 demo - the one that Sgt. Banks had bombed - that arched heaps. The only Heavy laser I'v seen that doesn't have the Mortat-effect are the big ones used in space.
.......interesting........

If you play on Ledgendary the plasma is fast and the wraith can fire three rounds in the same time it takes for a scorpion to fire one shot. I would love to drive a Wraith if they made it easy to control that is.
