Thus he came alone to Angband's gates, and he sounded his horn, and smote once more upon the brazen doors, and challenged Morgoth to come forth in single combat. And Morgoth came.

I'm with you man. Halo 2 had a great campaign, with an insane legendary difficulty. Even more difficult than Halo 3's. Halo: CE had the best campaign out of all three I think. Especially the level 343 Guilty Spark. Halo 2 had a faster paced online experience, while I think Halo 3 became a lot slower. I think halo 3 is cool and all but, I think the only thing that stood out to me was the graphics. Halo 3's graphics and lighting was simply amazing. My favorite game out of all three, I'd have to say Halo 2.

Oh yeah, how can you not? I mean, look at all these different elite ranks, you have rangers, councilors, honor guards, and many more. Halo 2 was probably the best era, despite the rants from fanboys and such.

I know!

Bungie ruined Elites in the third game. There was not ONE gold eilte, which you would at least expect. Let alone all the other ranks. The best live one you actually fought alongside were red ones. There were silver, but they were all dead.

Halo 2 also has the best gamplay and everything. There's just no beating it.

Halo 2 has this familiar, good feeling when you play it.

It is the game that started it all for me.

The first halo game i have played. Except for the five minurtes of halo ce i played a loooong time ago, i didnt even know it was halo!

Halo 2 has the best campaign. so much things to do!

Everyone is entitled to their own wrong opinion.

I'm part of the Bungie.net Minecraft group/server called SeptaCrafters
We're a Bungie.net group that goes to our very own Bungie server. Most players are from the Halo community either off Bungie itself or through word to Halo friends.

Halo2 is the best.

Each game is better in its own way.

Halo CE: Campaign
Halo 2: Multilayer
Halo 3: Forge

I prefer Halo2 out of all of them. XD

Hmm, while I do like Halo 2 a lot as well as Halo 3, I don't necessarily think that Forge is the strong point of Halo 3. I've done plenty of forging in my time, and find it to be fun, but the thing that keeps me in Halo 3 is the multiplayer, not forge.

I come back to Halo: Combat Evolved for the campaign as well. But what keeps me coming back to Halo 2 is people like you :>, the people are some of its strongest, and yet weakest points.

In my opinion, the fairness of multiplayer. No BXR, no BXB, no hitscan weapons, (except for Sniper and Spartan Laser) no super bouncing, et cetera. But that is also it's weakest point ironically, for that is what sometimes bring people back to Halo 2. The glitches and such that make it unfair, but add a long time onto it's life. But now, we're getting off-topic.

I loved each Halo game. I played the Original Halo and then each one in sequential order. So each game brought completely new things to the table that just built up on my love for Halo. Halo CE was unique because it was an amazing first person shooter and had amazing AI, story, and graphics for it's time. Halo 2 brought a whole new look at the story, such as a whole different point of view, the Arbiter. Then Halo 3 ended the whole thing off with a bang, literally and figuratively, it also brought amazing components such as Theater and Forge.

I can't wait till the next game Bungie releases.
