I'm an ex-Bungie.net Moderator. Srsly. Good times, good times.. now this place is pretty icky. I am actively avoiding my ban. You'll see me around."People are often afraid of things that sound new."— Thomas BangalterYour girlfriend likes me.
Are these all just demo versions?
You should remove the link to the first then. Sorry, but Take Two still have copyright over it.
I proof-read this post at least twice. I suggest you do the same so you don't look like a moron."Then, on the 14th of September 3866, the 7th company of the Presian army, which had been posted in Cuîrt one week beforehand, crossed the Perdané into Ulastap and captured the city of Reiginkø on the other side of the river. This dashed all hopes of reaching a peaceful solution in the North-East.”
.sit means that it is a Stuffit Expander file. You can download Stuffit Expander (Mac or PC) from the Stuffit website. The Mac Action Sack doesn't come with the Myth games. The Action Sack only has PiD, Abuse, Minotaur and the Marathon series. Bungie no longer sells Myth TFL or Myth II, since they are property of Take 2 since the MS buyout of Bungie, and Myth III had nothing to do with Bungie in the first place. The two Bungie Myth games (as well as the Chimera expansion pack thingy) come in Myth: The Total Codex, but I don't think you can buy that new anymore. I'm not sure about Myth III.If you buy Myth II but can't find Myth TFL, you can download the Myth II total conversion of Myth TFL, which includes the entire Myth TFL campaign from Project Magma. Remember that neither Bungie nor Take 2 have endorsed this conversion, however they haven't condemned it (I have a kind of feeling that T2 doesn't really care about Myth or Oni), so your in uncertain legal territory here. Project Magma is a fan-based project dedicated to updating the Myth II engine, sort of like the Aleph One project for Marathon. - Reiginko
Posted by: VII ToastSorry bout the Myth thing about the Mac action Sac (I didn't know stop hurting my smartness...smartness...hm)I wasn't trying to question your smartness (and yes it is a word), I was just trying to make sure that people don't buy the Mac Action Sack under the false impression that it includes Myth. The last thing Bungie needs is more hate mail. and why would you want to buy something if you can get it for free eh? (my other motto.)Um, because it's legal and morally sound.and Reiginko you post your butt off huh? What's your typing speed? 100 WPM? lolI don't get it. :s - Reiginko
The Mac Action Sack, as the name suggests, contains games that work on the Mac only. BUT, you can play Marathon on a PC using Aleph One. Look at Rip Saw's "I beat Marathon on my PC" thread (it's stickied up the top, and it's been the "Most popular topic" on the b.net main page for a couple of weeks now, so it's kinda hard to miss). You need to buy the Mac Action Sack in order to play Marathon 2 and Marathon Infinity on a PC with Aleph One. It's free to download the Marathon 1 scenario for Aleph One, as is explained in the aforementioned thread. And yes, I know what "WPM" means. Watts per metre! :) jk.I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion about my typing speed is all - I posted like 50 minutes after the last post in the thread.Ah, mind games. - Reiginko
Why would I waste time downloading the demos for two games I already own, and another demo that I've already played? From most accounts I've heard, Myth III isn't as good as the first two games anyway. - Reiginko
Myth 3 is a b-a-st-ar.d child. I bypassed the filter because I'm saying it in a different way, not the swearing way.
Myth 3 wasn't even made by Bungie. But then again neither was Abuse, and that was pretty good. Myth 3, however, is not. I absolutely love Myth 2, though.
Myth 3 was made by... (cue the ominous music) Take 2! Dun Dun Dunnnnnn...
Gnop wasn't a shooter...
