Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

PLEASE phone Microsoft and complain about this issue! They need more reports of it before they will do anything about the problem.

No, I'm saying that if enough people complain about the mouse support they'll do something about it.

  • 07.19.2008 11:52 AM PDT

Not really. People have found ways to decrease the lag. Though there's still some, they got used to it

I think the problem has to do more with the Graphics Card installed than the mouse. What kind of Graphics are you using?

Stupid parents let their stupid children play games that are rated M when they should be playing Big Birds Spelling Adventures

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

type "dxdiag" into the search bar in the start menu. Then click on it when the "dxdiag.exe" comes up. That'll tell you the graphics card.

Try turning off VSYNC on your video card. If that doesn't work PHONE MICROSOFT.

- Right-click your desktop.
- Choose "NVIDIA Control Panel"
- If asked, select "Advanced"
- Go to "Program Settings" tab
- Go down the games list and choose "Halo 2"
- Go down the list below and under VSYNC choose "Force off"
- Hit "Apply" and close the window.

Or you can go into the halo shortcut and after the file path type -novsync.

I usually find that easier and more effective. Especially since some nvidia settings will forget you want it no vsync. ;)

Right-click and edit the 1st command in the Halo 2 shortcut. Put -novsync (with a space before it) at the end of the "Target" line.
