I can't add on to anything that Archonos and the other mods have not already stated. Just don't attack the mods. With 2.5 million post it's a hard job and they derserve respect. His quote reads:

"Bungie sucks! Halo is great! Lets fire em and let someone who will complete and release on time without all the bugz make the game."

That is an attack agianst the whole of Bungie. They are permiting with you because they choose not to be demon mods, but when you write something as moronic as that and then FLAME the mods and Admin of Bungie.net they have every right to blacklist you. I suggest you leave.

For any Mods still here: Is it possible for you to see all the posts of a member? I ask, not to find your trade secrets or something crazy like that, but to see if you can tell me what I got blacklisted for by Shishka about two weeks to a month ago. Please PM me if you can tell what post it was. If you look at all my posts, I'm sure you'll find me to be a very friendly person. (I even got half a pizza cookie from Reiginko once, if that proves anything :) ) I felt quite bad about it, and, since it's been hanging over my head whenever I visit these forums, I thought I'd ask.
Thanks,
-EastBeast

Edit: To VII Toast below. Will do! ... Is done! I supposed that this thread was all but finished. Is there a way to PM all the mods at once like in a general question, or is it best to just PM one (that's what I did). Anyway, thanks for reminding me to not waste space. I have been working on my "no-reply" button usage, even if you can't tell :).

I don't think they ban for no reason. Shishka banned me for a political discussion. I just got off of the black list. That is the only time I got black listed. There wasn't anything better to reply to so I did it without thinking about it much. It was against the rules so I got banned. Its fair.

The problem with the huge amounts of people posting about dlc and other garbage has more to do with there not being any good posts. If there were more good posts the dlc crap wouldn't stay at the top. To tell you the truth I can't think of a good post to make.
We still love you shishka your ban gave me extra time to play halo 2.

I think the moderators do a great job. They actually do stuff, and they don't take crap, if they don't like it they do the apporiate thing.

The one thing everyone needs to do is respect everybody. I treat everybody like I want them to treat me. Pretty sad that the most important rule of respect is from preschool and nobody listens to it. I treat everyone, Shishka, Obbi, Azn, Achronos, everybody with respect because that is how I want them to treat me and so far it has been working. I respect the rules, the mods put it up for a reason to help us. Well, enough of me going on because no one is really listening to me to begin with. I gonna play me some old school Megaman 7!

Bungie.net may be stupidly restrictive, take away rights to make political references, is full of stupid members, replaces everything besides "flower" and "puppy" with "-blam!-", but it's a nice place to be. Always keep in mind, the bungie.net team isn't the same as the bungie employees who made the games. I think the mods do a good job (usually) and keep it fun. It's meant to discuss eggs, speculation, and things like that.

By the way bungie.net haters, how would you like to go to work everyday and have people who know nothing tell you "you suck"?

So, if someone from "halo2sucks.com" or "reconisamoron.org" has something to say that I don't have anything to add (except my anger or other negative response)? I frequently choose to simply say nothing and let that speak for itself.

Woah, dude...

Yes, it's the link at the top of the page that is the name of the forum that you are in.

For example, if I were to say, "Halo 2 is D suX0rs!!!!111" You would simply scroll to the top of the thread and click on the Forum Title, (in this case, The Septagon) just under your member toolbar.

Using the "non-reply" button should take you back to the thread listing.

Telling some people there is a non-rely button will send them on a easter egg hunt.

Easter egg hunts rock, I remember when I was like five, I went with all the oterh kids that live in my Cul de Sac to our one neighbor's house for egg hunts. I had a couple of friends there (still do) who's dad would take an old flintlock and put a blank in there, fire it, and that would start the hunt. Anyway, I agree that the mods do not abuse their power, and the forums would be utter confusion and chaos without them.

Yo Halo53, I'm real happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best bungie.net profiles of all time. OF ALL TIME!

It's not really all that hard to follow the rules. I've been a member here for 2+ years and a member of the RvB forums for 1 1/2+ years and have never been banned from either site. It's good to see his point of view changed and he decided to make a new profile etc. but everyone complains about being blacklisted. You know what you did wrong, whether you'd like to admit it or not. The moderators wouldn't be mods if they just banned people because they felt like it.

Hy about these sites that oppose bungie and its counterpart and products i have designed a group for the situation and i try to convince people to look at the positive side of Bunge and its stuff(halo,halo2,etc.).I believe that the Bungie Forum Mods and Admins are just doing theyre job andtry to ennforce the rules and regulations of Bungie and Bungie.net.

I was blacklisted by Shishka for (and i quote)"attacking another group, site, member, etc." after i had figured out what i had done i completely changed my outlook on Bungie and quick my actions that i had done.In fact ask Sasqach. He stated in my group that after i had gotten blacklisted that i "went from mr.uber mad guy bungie hater hater to mr.lets talk this out and solve our differences and nonviolence"Well getting blacklisted sucks but is a neccessary procedure for the Bungie Ninjas to keep peace and tranquility throughout the site.I am glad that TerminateBungie is reconsidering but i think with his reputation if he acts up again he wont be allowed on Bungie.net again and i oppose people like this but try to get them to see the light of Bungie and explain that theyre just doing their jobs.

If fact one week ago today(2-25-05 to 3-4-05) i was blacklisted and just got over it.Yes Shishka i realize what i did was wrong and i appologize for my actions and guarantee that it will not happen again.I know i am supposed to be advertising for groups in The Classifields but here is the group that i was talking about so if you want to see bungie and its Forum Ninjas make H3 and even more totally awesome gamescome here and fight for the right to see Halo3!!!!:

Maybe if you had chosen a normal name not intended to piss people off...

And if that was NOT your intention, then you, sir, are clueless.

I used to use my gamertag...but I changed it to terminate bungie after I was Blacklisted and called a liar

Statement: Where and when have you been called a liar. i don't see that anywhere. You simply assumed you were called a liar.

Whoa, Prophet. You went pretty far back to find this again. This is a recap with my own little twist. All I can say is respect everyone by following the rules. As long as you be a good and faithful member in bungie.net by following all the rules, you won't be in trouble with the moderators. Do not go and directly flame moderators. That has to be one of the worst thing I have ever heard of. Especially with a couple of the threads I have found quite a long time ago that had flamed Recon behind his back which is weak, because Recon is one of the best mods I have met so far. If you did something wrong, you will pay for it sooner or later. I have yet to be blacklisted or have my threads locked (not that it couldn't happen) because I follow the rules. Because I follow the rules and I don't screw up and I keep my self levelheaded, I have been accepted into the group The Seventh Column. Let's say if I ever did get blacklisted, I would try to think back to what I have done wrong and totally rethink my plans over again when I get back out. We have moderators to balance this place out. Without moderators, things would get totally out of hand. You have been blacklisted for a reason and the only reason is that you have done something wrong. Grant it, you may not accept the fact that you have been blacklisted for something you thought was fair, but let's think about this. What may be far to you may not fit what bungie.net had in mind. Keep reading, things like this tend to get very, very long. As a member, you signed an agreement to follow the rules. You must abide by that agreement. You must also realize that the moderators do the best that they can to keep this place organized and that it isn't easy for them so you have to give them the low-down on what's going on, sometimes. If there's someone who's breaking the rules in the forums and they have seriously broken the rules and it hasn't been caught yet, like Recon said, let a mod know via PM. I have helped to eliminate plenty of "rule breakers" out there via PM to the mods. The people who dedicate time to work on this webiste do their best and you have no right to judge them for doing their job the best they can. Call me a mod-wannabe, even though I'm not, all you want. Just please, if you did make another account, take into consideration about what you are about to type before you type it. Really, it might just keep you out of trouble.

I'm sorry to hear that. A couple of friends of mine have been standby'd recently. You know, I have also been wondering what happened to that thread. I've PM'd Achronos with no response yet. I don't think it has very much to do with the moderators as it does the new auto-updates. Apparently, the idea was that the auto-updates would fix all of the problems with cheating and they wouldn't need the thread anymore. They were sort of wrong. Don't blame it all on the moderators though because I seriously doubt that even they would have known that cheating would still be a major problem and that the system wouldn't ban all of the gamertags that it should have. By the way, the moderators help keep forums in line and keep them clean, not ban gamertags from ever existing again. That's Microsoft's job. Bungie just tells Microsoft all the cheaters' gamertags to help rid of them for a long time.
