I hope its a possibility to send Nav points to a teammate in MP. After all, chatting in Xbox live is cool, but brings up a problem:
If you're in a clan, and you want your teammate to get to... lets say... a rocket launcher, you'd have to give him an entire walkthrough. Turn left here, right there, etc. And, if you're playing, you won't have time for that (unless your clan has an operator guy who's job is to do this and doesn't actually play. But thats unlikely since the point of Halo 2 IS to play.) So instead, you could type in Rocket Launcher in the chat, and give you're friend a Nav point. Don't know how it would be built, but could be awesome.

I guess its to late for suggestions. But I think nav points should be like grenades. You can toggle to them and throw em out there. Once out there they activate and everyone on your team can see it. Theyll assign different colors to them, or it could have letters above them (Alpha, bravo, charlie, delta, echo) So you could be like, Hey, meet me at Nav point Alpha.

I think that you should have one Nav point, and that it lasts for 25 seconds. Once you throw it, you go back to grenades and you have 25 seconds until you can mark another nav point. That way worst case scenario 8 people can have nav points. Or you can limit the team, so only 5 nav points can be set by a team. That would make it much easier to manage.
