That doesn't excuse anything. In 2.0, I joined really late in the game, and still Fairly built my way up to become a powerful faction.

Seems like it's a lot of typing.
For the first post, yea. You have to add in all the bold, underline, and italics commands. But, after that, all you have to do is write up new research and stuff- not that hard. All you do is quote your post, then remove the posts and change it around to make it your next turn.

EDIT: rst, don't be an ass. Some people aren't beyond amazingly gifted. Give the guy a break, he IS new. Not everybody is as skilled as anybody else when they join.

Why not? There's no reason not to. You have 5 minutes of immunity, then you can declare yourself neutral for as long as you think it'll take until you're powerful enough to choose your side. There's absolutely no way you're going to get blown out of the water in the first 5 turns, and not that many people are on right now. Now's the best time- go for it!
The problem is that you limited the game to one solar system and very few habitable places, not if someone is going to get blown out of the water.

Oh Lord, This looks a touch complicated, and a small "Map" to play in, add another solar system with more planets, no need to do a design, just describe the planet, and make it so moving from solar system to solar system takes a certain amount of turns. Not very hard Snakie. But I wont criticise too much, as I've seen you create two things, both absolutely incredible. This, and the Rainbow Theory.
