I just got Halo PC the other day and I am having a few issues with it and was wondering if anybody can help.

Issue #1 - I can't see any explosions from grenades or rockets or anything. Does anyone else have this problem or is it a problem on my side? Here is my current setup:

Compaq Presario 1330NX
AMD Athlon 3200+ processor 2.2GHz
512 MB RAM
GeForce FX5200 Video Card
Windows XP Home Edition

Issue #2 - I'm using a NYKO controller to play with, but the sensitivity is way off. I have the sensitivity on the game turned down to 1, but when I aim, my reticle stil goes all over the place. I have tried using the keyboard and mouse and I'm not having much better luck with that and plus I'm more of a console gamer that just wanted to play Halo online without XBC, so I would really like to stick with a controller. Any ideas on this issue? I've looke a tthe controller setup and can't find a way to change the sensitivity on that.

Issue one is that you dont have particles on. Turn them on low to see explosions. I don't know how to change the sensativity of a controler but i do know that a keyboard and mouse are way more accurate.

1. Check the particles in the video settings. Otherwise, update your drivers. However, the 5200 isn't that great.
2. Reinstall the controller. Every once and a while they go crazy on you. Then, after you reinstall it, calibrate it. It should be fine.

ibooks and powerbooks have 5200s or a 9700 I don't get why they equip them with such crappy graphic cards and then boast how good the graphics for that particular model are. Most of them are 64 MB unless you get the 128 MB ATI 9700 or if you get a Power Mac G5 you can get an nVidia 6800 GT. The eMac has a really crappy 32 MB 9200 on it but it still manages to play Harry Potter and Tony Hawk 3 (I played it at an Apple store) I love macs but I don't understand them at all.
