Ok, here's how it is. Initially, it sounds good. But then when you start to think about it, it could never work. I don't care about special F/X, or good lighting, or who plays Cortana, or anything other than the plot. Some points in the book sound like they might work as a movie scene, but then again...
Now, think of all of the movies that you have seen, and would label "phenomenal" or "blockbuster". Then, see if you could picture them in book form. That is easy, since quite a few movies were books first, and then became films. Now, get ready, picture the film as a video game. I can see your grimaces as you try to picture "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" as a platfrom jumper/first-person shooter. This little "mind game" just goes to show how it isn't so easy to change the format of a game into a movie.

Yes but its not changing the actual gameplay into a movie. Its just changing the plot (perhaps fall of reach for example) into a movie. Anyway, no there shouldnt be a movie regardless.

Ok, the games made into a movie a BIG no no. But I could see TFoR in movie form. I havn't read the other two. BTW, if they did it in movie form they should just use voice overs and do it pixel style as in FF:TSW, but make it good of course. And of course not showing John's true looks. Although, in TFoR they did describe how he looked as a young boy.
