First of all thanks for visiting my forum. I'll post my questions and you can post questions also. On the grunts there is that circle on their chest with teeth like marks. There's a close up of it in the halo screenshots my friend says it's something they take out of them to reincarnate them. Next what is with the logo on the ghost wings? I have more questions but someone answer these first. You people ask some questions also.

the grunt symbol...???

Maby like an symbol of their home planet that the Covie higherarchy let them keep once they were assemilated into the "Covenant Collective"

As for the ghost symbol, ur guss is as good as mine. maby its like an artists signature:
This ghost was produced at production facility 123...hell, i dunno

If you want peace, prepare for war

Is that a symbol? I always thought it had something to do with their methane tanks.

I am totally clueless as to what those things are supposed to be, maybe just some wierd thing put in there by bungie to mess with out heads? XD No, but i was wondering why does master chief on your screen when you hit with the plasma pistol, use his right hand, but when another screen watches him, he uses his left?

Another thing, I heard of a halo trick called "flag flying," can anyone elighten me here?

Thank you sooooo much HaloMaster11, finally someone agrees with me that hunters are like the easiest. Like he said you just have to dodge them, and if you have a pistol, it is an instant kill in the back, one shot! On top of all that, they are EASY to dodge, so even without the pistol they are easy. Just a note, it is sooooo fun to kill them with just melee attacks. :D

Hunters arent tough? No there not especially IF you know how to deal with them, on legendary, they fire rapidly and accurately, at long range if you have no cover they will mess you up, i would rather fight them at close range as they will just try and charge you, jump over them, turn in the air and if you do it right one shot from the pistol, orange blood for everyone!!

Hunters aren't necessarily hard, but they sure do look it. I can bet that the sheer size of them made you feel uneasy the first time you faced one. Then you realise the knacks that puts them to the floor easy, and you're sorted.

All I know is that if I was a hunter I would get some armor for my orange spot.

zoggyzoggerson says:

Yeah, they'd be a lot harder to kill that way. Just think, if the orange spot was actually the hardest part of the Hunter, and underneath the armor was even softer tissue.

The fact that the orange part of the Hunter is very soft and vunerable is probably the one thing that leads them to their death. Apart from the orange part, they are quite a tough opponant.

That is one of the main things in battle... take your weakest point and make it your strongest, with a weak spot like the hunters have that could easilly be fixed with a small piece of armor it makes no sense that they leave it exposed. I think it was only done so it wouldn't take ages to kill them.

The orange spots are there for the joints in there body so they can move. And I agree hunters are easy to kill. And why do you guys waste your ammo on them, I just melee them in the back. Have you guys ever thought what a hunter looks like without armor? They would be totaly orange. They would look awesome.

Hunters, are, and hard, should never be in the same setence, in that order, ever. The one-shot orange spot, makes it rediculously easy to kill them, and you don't need it, as they are easy to dodge when charging, and their aim is likewise easy to dodge, even on legendary. I'm more afraid of charging into a pack of grunts and jackals than hunters.

The Symbols on their (Grunts) chest is where they refuel their MEthane.
The Symbols on the Side of the Ghosts are the Division that certain Platoon belongs to.

Yeah, I was wondering what all the Covenant would look like with no Armor on. Is the armor quite thin? Because if it was quite thick then that must mean an Elite is quite skinny and tall.

The thing with Hunters is, the exposed areas are for movement, but yet they are most vunerable there (like with most armor). It brings me to the conclusion that a Hunter is like the orange spot, all over. Freaky.

The funniest way to kill hunters is to get them to jump out of the hanger doors in the Truth and Reconcilliation!!

If the ghost symbols are for the divisions then why are all the same. Also in banshee on the inside of the tail of the banshee theres a symbol also.

The elites don't wear hardly any armor their plasma shield is their main source of armor that is why they can move so good, they aren't weighed down by armor.

and with their technology you would think they could find a way to protect that orange spot while still allowing movement wouldn't you?
