Whenever I play online on Halo PC or Halo CE sometimes, when the game has ended it loads a new map and gets stuck right when the new game starts. It does this on CE aswell. Does ne1 know how 2 fix this?

BTW I run with Windows 2000

Happened on my old computer. It's a problem with the 1.06 patch, because I never got it before that.

heyyo,

This's due to bad coding.. this's one masive bug they "claimed" to have fixed in patch v1.04.. it occured less, but diddn't fix it. Now in patch v1.06 it seems more likely to crash than before patch v1.04! :(

It loads the map and then freezes and keeps repeating the music over and over again and then when I press ctrl + alt + del. The whole screen just goes white and when I go on task manager I cant see my mouse so I cant end the task. so in the end I have to log off then back on again

Heyyo,

what you do is press ctrl + alt + del and wait 10 seconds, then press alt + e a few times, then wait 10-20 seconds and hit enter a few times. yes, windows xp taskmanager sucks really badly compared to windows 98 taskman.. but oh well.. nothing we can do aboot that.

Heyyo,

is your videocard a 256MB one by chance? if so, check the stickey thread for 256mb videocards fix.. you probably need that. Windows 2000/xp are very similar since xp's just an upgrade of 2000, so if the prob's in xp, it's probably in 2000 as well.
