hey,
i was just wondering if any one had aol dial up and ever got a message when they clicked get list for multiplayer saying that an error has occerd trying to connect to gamespy master server if so how did you fix it??????

dude u have AOL<dial up? man, even AOL DSL sucks. dial-up with AOL is like swimming in a lake of acid... with pirhannas that eat eyeballs... and pelicans that have a taste for flesh...

How many threads have you made like this? I thought we already said this was because you didn't sign in before playing halo.

There have been many problems concerning AOL and Halo, both Dial Up and DSL, but more often Dial Up.

The only solution: get away from AOL and if possible Dial Up

yikes! I'm swimming in a pool of acid with pirranas that eat eyeballs? And I can't swim very well in water, let alone acid!

lol... My brother uses AOL dial-up, and to be honest, I thought it was better than most! He does have to watch what games he joins, obviously, but he usually gets an average ping of 60... It seems to play really well!

They use 'accelerator' servers to get those high pings. AOL's dial up with that optimizer or whatever it is go through servers that are extremely fast and reduce ping significantly. Still not great, but bearable.
