Often I'll see people playing Halo and simply taking the SR and pumping out as many shots as possible. Far too often, those shots aren't godly one-hit kills to take out 3 people in a moving, weaving warthog, but just one person. Personally, the mere thought of taking the SR and trying to plant those shots through the torso area (when a "heart" shot doesn't even exist) bothers me. Even if I'm about to get creamed, I'd rather use the SR to try for a headshot. It takes more skill, and I just feel more proud of using the first and only shot to take out somebody in a moving vehicle (when I happen to actually accomplish such a shot). Now I'm only above-average at best (partly because I'm not that good in the first place, partly because I generally go for the SR and always try for headshots, upping the difficulty for me), but I'm more than glad that recoil is being incorporated into the SR. It means fewer people just blasting away at anything without even aiming, and more people dropping from that perfect shot when they were either nearly too far away to even see on screen or moving really fast. But there's a good possibility that I'm crazy, heh. Actually, it's almost certainly true: the sniper contrail bothers me not because it makes it easier to spot you (which I have no problem with), but because it looks really ugly; and the SR's bullet apparently moving slower then almost every other projectile in Halo PC (well, that or taking 1/4 of a second for it to respond to the trigger...). But of course neither of those are real issues. So I shouldn't complain.
