Edable - Not to be mistaken with Edible, you cannot eat me unless i am in pie form, which only happens once every 371 years

is there anyway to change the vehicle sensitivity in H2V? it seems rediculously unresponsive and its really annoying me. Any help would be great thanks

No, but you can change your mouse sensitivity either in the control panel or ingame...

Its possible in a few ways...

1) in game sensitivity

2) configuration file ( google this) usually its something like Mouse_Acceleration <number goes here>

3) Get a mouse with a higher dpi. It'll take some getting used to but is worth it in any shooter .

Also another thing to note about vehicles is they don't power slide as much as they used to and you have to use a button to do so. Sorry but the vehicles got a major balance nerf from H1 to H2.

i had halo 2 on xbox and i never never having any problems with the vehicles, its just their not sensitive enough in H2V, like i said my sensitivity is on Insane (10) and thats perfect for aiming, its just not good enough when i drive

if theres no fix for it i suppose il just give up on vehicles because their useless to me

Could it be because driving a warthog or other vehicle is easier when you use slower, more careful mouse inputs?

I just happen to find it easier to drive a warthog when the pointer isn't zipping back and forth. You don't fishtail all the time either.

I have the exact same problem as the TC. I have Halo 2 on xbox and when compared to Halo 2 Vista, vehicle sensitivity is extraordinarily slow.

For instance in a banshee I literally have to turn my mouse again and again and again on the mouse pad for the simplest turn. This goes for all vehicles and turrets as well. Warthogs are somewhat usable due to power sliding, but I just can't enjoy a Halo game when I can't use vehicles the way I should be able to.

I thought I was the only one with this problem. If it helps, I use an 8800GT card

I had this same problem while briefly using a mouse and keyboard adapter for the Xbox called Max Shooter. Aiming turrets and steering vehicles were near impossible and at first I suspected this was an issue with the adapter itself but after reading this I suspect it's an issue inherent in Halo 2 to begin with. For some reason the horizontal sensitivity is much much lower than the vertical sensitivity and when I use a controller on the Xbox especially while manning a turret I can tell there's a subtle vertical and horizontal sensitivity difference. The issue appears to be accentuated by mouse inputs.

so theres no fix then? and i doubt theres going to be a patch this long after release

guess i;ljust have to give up on vehicles then, which is a shame because they're such a large part of halo
