DEEP NNN = Depends

Clan 2old2pwn on 2old2play.

Don't let yesterday use up too much of today.

Will that be the first reveal for the new multiplayer content?

Who said anything about new multiplayer options?

My guess would be Purple Reign or Moonbase Alpha maps will be there.

Also is Bungie ever going back to New York?

I will be attending PAX on Saturday only. I would like the chance to meet Shishka and Luke and have the chance to play against them, any details on how to make this happen would be grateful. I would also like the opportunity to meet Sketch, JonnyOThan and Achronos. I can't wait, this event is so close and I am really excited. See you there.

You will recognize me sporting the custom tee at PAX '08.

Trust me, my lifelong dream is a mobile Bungie party bus that can span the country, spreading Bungie love to all corners. Then we put it on a freighter and tour Europe.

The main reason we only tend to do stuff here on the west coast usually boils down to resources and logistics. In Seattle, our ENTIRE team is able to be included. And, PAX is already an event that's taking place, with our without us. It's a venue, it's a reason to gather. So, it just becomes more practical. We still love our fans everywhere else and hopefully we'll find a way to extend our reach in the future.

MY LOVE FOR YOU IS LIKE A TRUCK...

There is a reason I am user ID 1 and my account creation date is before this site came online.

Hmmm, people I'd like to meet there (assuming I can go). Well, you of course Brian, but I assume you mean people other than you.

Ideally, I'd like to have a chance to talk to some of the Producers. No, not the Nathan Lane variety. The Joe Tung and Allen Murray variety. Recently, there was a listing for a Associate Producer position and I was too late to get my paperwork in line to submit for it. I'd love a chance to talk over what I do in my career with what Joe or Allen do for their career, and see if it meshes. That way, if another position does open up, I'll be all about applying.

Obviously I'd want a chance to meet the "big name" people. Like the McLees' (although I've been told they are kinda "shyish"), Achronos, Shish, NOF(who I know doesn't work for you guys, but he said he was going), Lars, and Jon C.

But at the same time, beggars can't be choosers, so I'm sure whoever you have man-ing or woman-ing (I <3 me some TDW) will be absolutely awesome.

"Do not be afraid. I am peace; I am salvation."

I would absolutely love to meet Chris Butcher.

This is why...
A few months back I was in a bit of a rut, and decided to take a "Career Builder" course to help point me in the right direction. After a dozen motivational speeches and even more aptitude testing, I came to the realization that I wanted to become a computer programmer. Video game programming, ideally. I did piles of research to discover the best educational path to "break in" to the gaming industry. The IDGA website helped me immensely, and among those developer profiles was Bungie Senior Engineer Chris Butcher. If a job in the video game industry was the wish I asked of shooting stars, working at Bungie would be like wishing on a Halo construct as it orbited the planet. Much more noteworthy. I read the IDGA page every time I question my career path, every time I'm sick of homework, and every time that lines of code seem to blur into each other, and it gets me through. I'm now enrolled in a great school, and finally getting the education I need to prepare me for the video game industry.

Chris Butcher said: "Everyone I know who has 'broken in' to the industry rather than just stumbling over it has been driven by a passion that no matter what, they want to make games."

I want to make games.

I'm going to PAX, and I would love to speak to Chris Butcher about his experience in the video game industry.

Maybe I will never be
All the things that I wanna be
But now is not the time to cry
Now's the time to find out why
I think you're the same as me
We see things they'll never see
You and I are gonna live forever

Giving away Recon again!
I really want to go but I live in Ireland.
If I was there I would completely destroy Luke and Shishka at a game of Halo.

I would love to meet Shishka and ask him about his job and what he does at Bungie. And I would totally buy some kind of Bungie merch if it were for sale!!

  • 07.24.2008 1:54 PM PDT

Four shots, four kills, reload, repeat. This is the work of a sniper.

God i wish I could go. Unfortunately, school starts the same time and I live in Florida. Very sad face.

I wonder how many people are going to get recon armor. Theyll be alot of people ready to play luke and shishka, hope their up for it.
