Edable - Not to be mistaken with Edible, you cannot eat me unless i am in pie form, which only happens once every 371 years

Sometimes when i exit from H2V it says windows has shut down because of something or other, and im left with a blue screen with error codes and no OS then my PC automatically restarts. Is there any reason for this? Am i doing something to make it crash, is it a known problem or am i just unlucky? Also is it doing my PC any harm?

When i restart my PC it says the error was bluescreen error but doesnt tell me what the problem was.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Halo 2 crashes when I close it, too. It doesn't blue-screen though, so I have no idea why it's doing that to you.

You need to write down those error codes and just do a Google search on it. Usually it ends up either a driver issue or a hardware problem, usually, lol.

My PC has never blue screened, not once since I bought it three years ago. My last one blue screened quite a bit and every time it would it would reboot before I even had a chance to reach for a pen and paper. Is there any way to pause it so I have enough time to write it down? Just in case this one blue screens tomorrow due to karma.

I think my mobo has a setting in bios that tells it not to reboot following a system failure, but I'm not sure, as I haven't messed around in that area for a while.

Yep!

My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Settings under "Start up and Recovery" > System Failure > Untick "Automatically Restart".

Have fun! ;)
