Well we arn;t asking for an upgrade or update, we want them to make it again for online play. Right now it isn't, XBC can only do so much, but the lag is caused by Halo itself because it has a property to send alot of data at one time, alot more than Halo2 does. They can just remake it with the same kind of stuff, I wouldn't care if it had the campaign. And I don't care for DLC on XBL, but just the way it is with a server list (they could do matchmaking, but that it so retarded).

... is not feasible... nor does it have any hope of being a sound business decision. They've said no......
...maybe then, you might see something happen.

Controdicting ourselves, are we?

No, Recon is not contradicting himself. If you understood anything about what Bungie did before Halo, you would know that Bungie released the Marathon 2 source code and level editor for use by fans. This meant that fans had the ability to create their own Marathon scenarios. Unless they do the same with Halo, there will never be even the slightest possibility of a live enabled Halo 1. And even if Bungie did release official level editing software and the Halo source code, any builds capable of online play would be made by fans, not Bungie. I don't think the average Halo fan is anywhere near as hardcore and the average Marathon fan and any attempt at such a conversion would probably fizzle.

Don't think you are cute by quoting out of context.

Those of us who listen, read, comprehend, and learn share your frustration Recon.

Well, here is what I have done. I just purchased an X-Box to PC USB adapter. I have Halo PC. Now, given that if you have internet, put Halo PC into computer, install, get updates, commence with the carnage. So total $ spent:
$20 + tax for Halo PC
$12.95 w/shipping for adapter
And Im just going out on a limb but Im guessing you already have a computer.
Yes, I would like to have Halo 1.5 or whatever it is we are calling it, but because Bungie said 'no' why -blam!- and moan when there is a semi-solution?
