Hey Bungie, what happened to the series? It just cuts off at the beginning of Halo 2! Are more books being written?

They definitely need to continue the story through the books. It helps alot to get an idea of what the Chief is thinking. And the story of the Arbiter would be sweet to read. It would help to understand the story. I' m begging Bungie to continue the story through books. It would be sweet.

Agreed. I loved the books because it didnt focus on just killing like so many people feel the game does. I know.. but dont flame me yet! See, with the books, we let someone else take over strategy. It wasnt what you or I wanted to happen, it was what the author wanted to happen. We also saw things about other characters that we didnt see in the game. Besides, I want to know whats with the other spartans!

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

The books are pretty good at describing the action. They dont follow MC 100% they follow the other spartans and the MARINEs. In THE FLOOD book they follow botha nd an elite and his grunt slave

Dude, unless you know what your talking about, read through the books first. If you dont like the books after you have read them, then you have a right to flame. But until then, zip it.

Anywas, Halo imo, should be continued. Eric Nylund did an awesome job with "The Fall of Reach" and "The First Strike." I currently own all three books, i dont like the second as much as the first and third, but its good none-the-less. I would most definately buy the next book if it came out, and read it over and over. To this day, i still read the books every now and then, and i even managed to get my teacher hooked to the books.

agreed... continue the books. they are amazing. the second book isnt all that good, but the first to are amazing. they give you an entirely other view on what else is going on in the story besides what the master chief does.
