In Halo2, you can see yourself when you look down. (E3 multiplayer demo from this year.)
If you are stupid, and shoot yourself in the foot, do you lose health?

If you can jump higher in Halo2, does that mean you can fall further without being injured?

I heard somewhere that you can "peek around corners", press down once to crouch, and press down again to LAY POSTRATE. That last would be great for sniping. Plus the click-crouch would leave you crouched without having to hold the button down. Can any of those three be confirmed?

Just how low of gravity on the low-gravity levels? 1/2 gravity would make objects go 4x as high. Think warthog jumping... Grenades bouncing... Things being blown sky-high. Heck, even jumping 40 feet. Is this low-gravity level(s) on the moon? If so, is the gravity 1/6? Wouldn't that make you jump...60 feet straight up!!! Think two people on multiplayer bouncing side-by-side trying to shoot each other while bouncing like bouncy balls...

Do needles home in? There was no evidence of that in the E3 demo from this year. (At least that I saw.)

When rockets home in, are they motion tracking or heat-seeking? So if you stay still, will the rocket zoom by or dead-center you in the head? And do the rockets shot from the rocket hog zoom in?

"All vehicles can be boarded..." (I seem to remember hearing.) Does this include banshees?

In the E3 demo from last year, Cortana says "Ghosts! To your right!". Is this a scripted dialogue or is Cortana really that helpful? (Notice she nothing while you are fighting in Halo1.)

On the same idea, if when you first boarded the rocket hog in the demo, you hopped in the driver seat instead, would the level play entirely differently? Meaning you probably would not have been under the Phantom when the Brute fell on top of the hog, you would not have hopped out, the Phantoms and Ghosts would not be chasing you...

Can you drive all those cars you see in the demo? Wouldn't that be fun, to roadkill the Grunts in style with a Ferrari... I heard somewhere there is a Chevy Truck you can drive, but is that just speculation?

Are there just 10 levels again? Yes, they are said to be "massive...think 4x Assault on the Control Room", but are there MORE than ten MORE massive levels? And just how many multiplayer levels could there be? We know about 5 or so, but even Halo1 had about 13. Halo2 should be bigger and better...

Master Chief's visor seems mighty shiny...could you see your reflection in it if you stood in front of somebody in multiplayer?

Vehicles and weapons respawn of course in multiplayer...what about the destructable terrain like wall sections, and those "explosive canisters" (for lack of a better term) in the demo? When you shoot out the mouted turret, is it gone for the rest of the game?

Don't banshees have boosting also? Whew, that fianlly puts and end to those merry-go-round banshee fights you have probably had if you play Halo PC.

And last but not least, if Wal*Mart is open 24 hours a day, could you get your copy of Halo2 at 12:01 AM November 9th?!? Do the shipments come in that day, or the day before with the instructions "do not sell until release date".

1. Dunno if you lose health when shooting yourself in foot...hasn't been confirmed.
2. Logically, it would sseem correct if you were able to fall further.
3. I think I remember reading a preview where you could peek around corners.
4. No clue about the gravity stuff.
5. The needler operates the same, but is more powerful. More than likely, they do lock on. In the demo you saw, they were probably not locked on.
6. They are heat seeking, so even if the warthog is not moving it can be locked on and shot.
7. Of course banshees are boardable!
8. That was probably just scripted, there was actually some similar dialogue like that in Halo 1. Just scripted, I can't imagine her telling you where the enemy is everytime.
9. I'm not sure if it forces you to get in the rocket seat or not.
10. I seriously doubt any real life cars are in the game.
11. Well, all Bungie said was that levels were bigger. I am guessing around 10 missions again, just bigger and more parts.
12. I actually thought about reflections, and I think that would be a nice touch. They should do reflections in water also.
13. I'm not sure if the turret would come back or not...hasn't been confirmed
14. Ghosts have boosting, I'm not sure about Banshees? Anyone verify that?
15. Some Wal Marts don't even wait for the release date to put games out. So you might get lucky and snag one a few days early. Oh and Wal-Marts where I live aren't open 24 hours a day.

There ya have it...did the best I could.

Thanks, The Last Canoli...

I knew you can fly Banshees, but I didn't not know if they were boardable or not...thought only the warthog and ghost were confirmed for that.

I cannot confirm the Banshee boosting, but I am almost positive I read it from "an official source"... I will need to check FAQs and some of the other articles to find where I read that...

What do you mean by boardable? I'm just double-checking.

By "boardable", I mean "to be able to kick out the passenger to obtain your own ride".

And when Cortana says "Ghosts, to your Right!"...well, Right isn't a direction like North/South. And surely the player had control of the player at that point. The player could have been facing in any direction then... Cortana didn't say "Ghosts coming!"... I think it would be VERY fascinating if Cortana gave tactical advice. Make you feel like she was really in your head for one reason. Also, having an extra set of eyes (if she has eyes) to point out snipers or check for vehicles trying to mow you down from behind would be most useful...

ALL vehicles have boost? Tank? Warthog? Wow, a tank boosting across a map similar to Blood Gulch taking the hills at a jump... Or do you mean only Covenant vehicles have boost? Warhogs have a horn implemented, I know that.

Shadows: on Zanzibar at least, you cast a shadow about half the height that you are. Wouldn't that make hiding behind corners harder since your shadow would extend if the light source were behind you?

Vehicle Damage: In Halo1, vehicles did not become damaged, but hitting the vehicle anywhere injured all riders. You could shoot the warthog in the back tire and hurt the driver. Does destructibility compensate for unrealistic damage? In other words, if somebody is shooting at you with the battle riifle as you ride off with the flag, does it injur the warthog instead of you unless the bullet actually HIT you? That would make the tank much more deadly, and shooting down ghost drivers much more difficult from the front.

Shooting Down Rockets: Pure speculation, but would not it be cool to be able to "shoot out" an incoming rocket? For example, you are looking through your sniper scope and the person you are trying to snipe shoots a rocket at you from a distance. If you shot the rocket as it heads straight at you, it would blow up while in the air...

It think OXM said that it does not hurt you it just hurts the vehicle oh and this is show when he shoots the hog with a rocket and the elite doesnt even flinch also i hope you can shoot rockets down then the normal warthog would have a good purpose since its laag gun could spary that homing rocket down

It's been confirmed that there WON'T be a reflective visor in Halo 2. They had to take out all the refelctive stuff to make the game run smoother. Also I don't think that having a reflective helmet in an FPS would do you much good. =)

What im tryin to figure out is how you would board a Banshee cause I mean your in side there like superman. Would you have to like yank him by the leg and make him fall out and somehow get inside. Unless the Banshees are designed differently, I dont think you will be able to board. Unless there was like a button outside the vehicle that you could press to open the hatch but from the info we got i dont think the Banshee is boardable.
